Altcar Training Camp
The Altcar Training Camp Team recently noticed the gym in the camp was dated and not fit for visiting units to complete mandatory physical training tests. The equipment was not up to the standard required to assist downgraded personnel to continue their rehabilitation programmes. It was important that Altcar address these issues and provide a safe, modern, and welcoming gymnasium for personnel to use.
Partnering with Pulse Fitness the gym flooring team supplied and installed over 420m2 of our 40mm Everroll Tile, a 20m x 2m track was created with our 40mm tile in a contrasting colour, 8 number 40mm oak lifting platforms were manufactured and installed with solid red 40mm drop zone tiles, our specialist team also painted line markings over the red tiles whilst incorporating markings for a new badminton court.
Altcar Gym now has brand new facilities to assist visiting units to complete their mandatory tests and is open 24hrs a day. All Severing Personnel and Crown Servants now have state of the art equipment to help maintain and improve their levels of fitness.
